VII. 1929). K\u0107i \u2192 \u0110ure i \u010cehinje Josefe Vavrinkove. U Zagrebu je polazila Klasi\u010dnu gimnaziju 1940\u201347. Balet je u\u010dila u Mercedes Goritz-Paveli\u0107 1936\u201337. i Margarite Froman 1938\u201345. te Ane Roje isprva u \u00bbDje\u010djem carstvu\u00ab, potom u Umjetni\u010dkoj \u0161koli. Kao dijete iz mje\u0161ovitoga braka II. svj. rat pre\u017eivjela je u Zagrebu. Usavr\u0161ivala se od 1952. u Milorada Jovanovi\u0107a i \u0110ur\u0111e \u0110ur\u0111an u zagreba\u010dkom HNK i 1955\/56. u Mary Skeaping u \u0161koli Enrica Cecchettija u Londonu te Olge Preobra\u017eenske i Nore Kiss u Parizu. Polazila je i Gluma\u010dku \u0161kolu pri HNK 1944. Iako je ostvarila gl. ulogu u filmu <span class=\"Italic\">Zastava<\/span> (Branko Marjanovi\u0107, 1949), odlu\u010dila se za baletnu karijeru. U HNK je bila stalna \u010dlanica baletnoga ansambla od 1945, solistica od 1952. te prvakinja baleta 1954\u201364, kad je zbog ozljede prestala plesati. God. 1965. postala je prva ravnateljica tada osamostaljenoga Baleta, u kojem je do umirovljenja 1970. bila i koreografkinja, pedagoginja i baletna majstorica. Na istim je du\u017enostima bila u baletnom ansamblu Gradskoga kazali\u0161ta u Klagenfurtu 1970\u201372. Usporedno je 1957\u201386. djelovala kao baletna pedagoginja u \u0160koli za balet i ritmiku. Od 1989. kao koreografkinja i baletna pedagoginja bila je stalna suradnica Zagreba\u010dkoga gradskoga kazali\u0161ta \u00bbKomedija\u00ab. God. 2000\u201303. predavala je scenski pokret na Muzi\u010dkoj akademiji u Zagrebu i u njezinu podru\u010dnom odjelu u Osijeku. U HNK te na gostovanjima u nas i u inozemstvu ostvarila je vrhunske domete baletne umjetnosti: <span class=\"Italic\">Trnoru\u017eica, Francesca da Rimini <\/span>(Petar Ilji\u010d \u010cajkovski, 1950, 1953), <span class=\"Italic\">Copp\u00e9lia<\/span> (L\u00e9o Delibes, 1951), <span class=\"Italic\">Balada o jednoj srednjovjekovnoj ljubavi, \u0110avo u selu<\/span> (Fran Lhotka, 1951, 1954), <span class=\"Italic\">Licitarsko srce<\/span> (Kre\u0161imir Baranovi\u0107), <span class=\"Italic\">Amazonke<\/span> (Ivan Kogan Semenoff), <span class=\"Italic\">Klasi\u010dna simfonija<\/span> (Sergej Prokofjev, sve tri 1953), <span class=\"Italic\">Apollon musag\u00e8te,<\/span> <span class=\"Italic\">Petru\u0161ka<\/span> (Igor Stravinski, 1953, 1956), <span class=\"Italic\">Romeo i Julija, Pepeljuga<\/span> (Prokofjev, 1954, 1960), <span class=\"Italic\">\u010cudesni mandarin<\/span> (B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k, 1958; I. nagrada na Baletnom bienalu, Ljubljanski festival 1960). Samostalno je koreografirala balete u kazali\u0161tima u Klagenfurtu (<span class=\"Italic\">3 Ka,<\/span> Paul Kont i <span class=\"Italic\">Tanz-Rondo,<\/span> Gottgried von Einem, 1970\u201372), Ljubljani (<span class=\"Italic\">Baletni ve\u010der,<\/span> 1985) i Rijeci (<span class=\"Italic\">Preludij i fuga u e-molu,<\/span> Johann Sebastian Bach, 1986). Za televiziju je 1957. koreografirala prvu baletnu emisiju (<span class=\"Italic\">Sinfonietta legera,<\/span> D. Savin), a 1970-ih vi\u0161e baleta: <span class=\"Italic\">Poema ekstaze<\/span> (Aleksandar Skrjabin), <span class=\"Italic\">Passacaglia<\/span> (Anton Webern), <span class=\"Italic\">Tamara<\/span> (Aram Ha\u010daturjan). Posebno mjesto u njezinu djelovanju zauzima vi\u0161e od 100 koreografija za opere (Zagreb od 1958, Split od 1964, Rijeka od 1982, Osijek od 1985; Verona, operni festival 2000), operete i mjuzikle (\u00bbKomedija\u00ab od 1959; Maribor 1995\u201399). Koreografirala je i spektakle na ledu (otvorenje Europskoga prvenstva u umjetni\u010dkom klizanju u Zagrebu, 1974. i 1979; zatvaranje XIV. zimskih olimpijskih igara u Sarajevu, 1984). Bila je predsjednica Dru\u0161tva baletnih umjetnika Hrvatske (1980\u201383) i Saveza baletnih umjetnika Jugoslavije (1983\u201389). Sura\u0111ivala je u <span class=\"Italic\">Hrvatskom leksikonu<\/span> i <span class=\"Italic\">Hrvatskoj enciklopediji<\/span> Leksikografskoga zavoda te bila suurednica monografije <span class=\"Italic\">125 godina profesionalnog baleta u Hrvatskoj<\/span> (Zagreb 2002).
