God. 1938. od Ministarstva gra\u0111evina Kraljevine Jugoslavije ovla\u0161ten je kao strojarski in\u017eenjer te je radio kao tehni\u010dki stru\u010dnjak u poduze\u0107u \u00bbLacet\u00ab, tvornici vrpca i \u010dipki u Zagrebu s mjese\u010dnom pla\u0107om od 12 000 din. Po uspostavi NDH sa suprugom Verom ro\u0111. Mitzky (?, 1913 \u2013 ?Auschwitz, 1942) i k\u0107eri Teodorom (?, 1940 \u2013 ?Auschwitz, 1942) preuzeo je \u017eid. znak, a u lipnju ili srpnju 1941. uhi\u0107en i odveden u nepoznatom smjeru, vjerojatno u Gospi\u0107, a odande u logor Jasenovac. U sredi\u0161njem logoru Ciglani pre\u017eivio je sve do proboja 22. IV. 1945, iako mu je bio poslan samo jedan paket po\u010d. 1942.
