IX. 1907 \u2013 logor Jasenovac, VII. 1942). Studij dirigiranja zavr\u0161io je 1928. na Muzi\u010dkoj akademiji u Zagrebu u klasi Frana Lhotke. Kao zborovo\u0111a pjeva\u010dkoga dru\u0161tva \u00bbLira\u00ab u Sarajevu 1928\u201329. izveo je prve operne predstave ve\u0107inom s amaterskim ansamblima <span class=\"Italic\">(Madame Butterfly, Cavaleria Rusticana).<\/span> Jedno je vrijeme bio dirigent kazali\u0161ta u Cetinju, a potom do II. svj. rata jedan od vode\u0107ih dirigenata opere u Beogradu, s vi\u0161e od 400 izvedbi. Dirigirao je i u novosadskom kazali\u0161tu 1932. Offenbachovu operetu <span class=\"Italic\">Lijepa Jelena<\/span>. Kao skladatelja najvi\u0161e ga je privla\u010dila glazb. scena (operete <span class=\"Italic\">Bosanska ljubav,<\/span> <span class=\"Italic\">Nata\u0161a, Omer-pa\u0161a;<\/span> balet <span class=\"Italic\">Oganj u planini;<\/span> komad s pjevanjem <span class=\"Italic\">Nasrudin-hod\u017eina \u010dudesa<\/span>), a pod pseudonimom <span class=\"Italic\">Sre\u0107kovi\u0107<\/span> ogledao se i na podru\u010dju zabavne glazbe. Uhi\u0107en je u Sarajevu dok je iz Beograda 1941. sa suprugom Ernom ro\u0111. Finci bje\u017eao prema Mostaru. Iako su 1942. na poticaj njegove sestri\u010dne Vande, supruge \u2192 O. \u0160terna, istaknuti zagreba\u010dki glazbeni i likovni umjetnici potpisali molbu za njegovo osloba\u0111anje, stradao je u logoru Jasenovac. \u2013 God. 1941. skladao je partituru za operu prema tekstu Vojnovi\u0107eva <span class=\"Italic\">Ekvinocija,<\/span> koju je sa\u010duvala V. \u0160tern i ustupila je arhivu Jevrejskoga muzeja. U jednom zagreba\u010dkom podrumu do 2002. \u010duvali su se notni zapisi dviju kora\u010dnica, datiranih 17. XII. 1941, koje je u Jasenovcu bio primoran skladati logornicima \u2192 B. Diamantsteinu i \u2192 B.
