God. 1880. bio je graditelj i suvlasnik Prvoga brodskoga paromlina, kapacitet kojega je bio 50 000 metri\u010dkih centi, te \u010dlan ravnateljstva Brodske \u0161tedione. Bio je \u010dlan Odbora za izgradnju sinagoge i utemeljitelj brodske Hevre Kadi\u0161e te \u010dlan Stranke prava i gradski zastupnik 1894. S bratom Askijom, koji je bio tajnik Odbora Stranke prava, potaknuo je utemeljenje Hrvatskoga dobrotvornoga gospojinskoga dru\u0161tva u Slavonskom Brodu. Njegov sin Rafael (?, o. 1879 \u2013 Zagreb, 8. I. 1946) bio je u braku s Jelenom ro\u0111. Halfon, k\u0107eri grofice Khuen Balassy, a k\u0107i Rifka bila je u braku s Maksom Kohnom (?, 1874 \u2013 ?, 1906). \u2013 Drugi sin <span class=\"Italic\">Mavro Gregor <\/span>bio je u braku s Mandicom ro\u0111. \u010cav\u010di\u0107.
